Halloween weekend of 2019, Tyler and his friends were going out to a bar in Hoboken, NJ. Stef tagged along with their mutual friend Bari, who Stef went to camp with for 8 years and Tyler has been friends with since he was born. They had a fun night drinking, dancing, and eating pizza on the sidewalk until 2AM.

The next day, Tyler texted Stef to recap the night and set up their first date. A few weeks later, they had dinner near Stef's apartment in NYC and ended the night with the worst vodka sodas in Murray Hill.

After a successful date, Stef invited Tyler and a couple of his friends to her house warming party. The night was going great until Tyler drank one too many and had too much fun for Stef's liking. After that night she told him "You're an amazing guy but I don't see this going any further." He tried to plead his case and convince her that it was a one time thing and it wouldn't happen again but she did not budge. So Tyler being the amazing guy he is respected her wishes and left her alone until further notice.

Two weeks went by and Stef started to wonder why Tyler hadn't texted or liked any of her Instagram pictures. She couldn't believe a guy was actually listening to her. As much as Tyler wanted to reach out, his friends advised him not to. Ultimately, the silent treatment would end up working in both of their favors.

One night, Tyler and his friends hanging out in Montville (Tyler's hometown). Stef and Bari were together in NYC during the day and Bari convinced Stef to come back to Montville and hang with the group at night. This was Stef's opportunity to find out why he wasn't giving her attention. So she went. It was a fun game night and Stef realized she enjoyed being around Tyler. She texted him the next day saying she made a mistake for pushing him away.

Five years later, they live together in Jersey City where they plan their trips around the world, host dinner parties with their friends, cook together (well Stef does while Tyler cleans), go to country concerts and hang down the shore.

They can't wait to celebrate their next chapter with all of their favorite people!
