Sara and Stefan met while working as camp counselors at Dickson Valley Camp and Retreat Center in June of 2020. Little did Stefan know, Sara had the biggest crush on him that summer. After the summer ended, they stayed in touch for the next 8 months. After 8 months, Stefan FINALLY asked Sara out on a date. On the day of the first date, Stefan’s car broke down on the way to Sara’s place. Instead of cancelling the date, he had his friend Noah come and jumpstart his car. Stefan was determined to make it to Sara’s. Once he arrived at Sara’s house, his car broke down a second time in her driveway. This time, Sara’s dad was the one who jumpstarted his car. After the car was jumpstarted, Sara and Stefan still had their first date. Because of the delays throughout the day, their initial date plans were changed. Sara and Stefan ended up having their first date in a car, while eating Culver’s. Despite all the first date craziness, Sara and Stefan began an incredible journey together. They loved and supported each other as she transferred to a new school and as he started a new job. Now we are coming together to celebrate their new life as they get married!
