Once upon a digital swipe, Tanner and Is story began in the whimsical realm of Tinder. At 18, skeptical hearts dared to believe in love on this unconventional platform. But as fate would have it, our connection transcended swipes. In a daring act, I bid farewell to Tinder, yet Tanner, undeterred, found his way to my Instagram, turning ghosting into a sweet chase of the heart.
I can recall our first date up on what one would call look out mountain in Council Bluffs, Iowa. I had clumsily misplaced my phone taking us hours to recover. Tanners unwavering determination to find my phone revealed care beyond words. In that moment, I discovered the true treasure- a man eager to know the depths of my well-being.
For eight years, our hearts waltzed in sync, witnessing the dance of growth and shared dreams. The year 2019, we welcomed our furry companion Duke to share these moments with. In 2020, we bought our first house as we were expecting our little girl the following spring. On June 2nd, 2021, our lives for changed for the better as Garnet Grace Long was born. In December that year, we decided to add a touch of country side magic for we adopted miniature Highland cattle into our family. Finally, more magic was brought to life at the George Straight concert on April 23,2022. Tanner asked my hand in marriage during my favorite song-Amarillo by Morning. I happily said yes marking the end of a chapter and the beginning of our forever tale.
