Doug and I met in 2018 at CRMC where we both work. His nurse practitioner approached me in late July of 2019 and asked me if I was single. She stated that Doug had been wondering if I was single but did not want to ask me out due to us working together so she was going to set us up. She did set us up on our first date and we ended up going to dinner on August 2nd, 2019. We ended up having so much fun and he officially asked me to be his girlfriend on September 7th, 2019.


On our 5th dating anniversary, Doug planned for us to go white water rafting and horse back riding in Chattanooga. He asked me to marry him on September 8th, 2024 right before we were set to go horse back riding. We later celebrated by eating wedding cake cupcakes from the cupcake factory and drinking champagne. We can not wait for the next 40 years of adventures that life has in store for us!
