Our favorite neighborhoods...
LOHI (LOWER HIGHLANDS): Visit Commons Park and walk the Highlands Bridge into LoHi. For food in this area, check out Linger for an eclectic menu, Cart-Driver for pizza, Uncle for ramen, Ash'Kara for mediterranean, and Spuntino for Italian. For drinks, we'd pick Lady Jane, Dimestore, Avanti, or Happy Camper.
Nearby on 32nd Ave is the Highlands – with more great food options such as Himchuli for Indian, El Camino for Mexican, and Fire on the Mountain for wings.
BERKELEY PARK / TENNYSON ST: Our old neighborhood! Take a stroll on Tennyson St for a true taste of the local scene. You can't go wrong with any of the shops along this cute little street. For food highlights, Bakery Four is a can't-miss for pastries, Vital Root is a great vegan spot, Cozy Cottage is our favorite breakfast, Parisi is our Italian go-to, and Berkeley Park Sushi is a staple for hand-rolls.
Other fave areas to explore:
- RiNo (River North Arts District) – breweries and more great eats
- Union Station and the Dairy Block
- Sloans Lake (2.5 mile loop)
- Washington Park

Such a special city where some of the best hiking, climbing, and biking is at your fingertips! AllTrails is a great resource. We really love Chautauqua – hiking in the flatirons is special. We also recommend taking a stroll through the outdoor Pearl St Mall in the middle of town.

Transportation
– Estes Park is about 90 mins from Denver International Airport. We recommend reserving a rental car or booking an airport shuttle through Estes Park Shuttle.
– Once in Estes Park, free Shuttle Buses run throughout town from 9am-9pm. See more info on shuttles and parking options in Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park here.
– Uber & Lyft are not available in this special mountain town!
