Cole and Stefanie met through mutual ROTC and gym friends at the Texas State Student Rec Center in 2018. However, it wasn't until a friend cancelled on a group movie outing in 2020 that the two went on a date, talking and giggling all throughout a throwback feature of The Godfather. Within weeks, the two were smitten. Even with Covid separating them in March, sending Cole back to Washington and Stefanie back to Florida, there was no stopping their connection. After several weeks apart and graduation looming, they decided to get back to Texas where they enjoyed exercising, bike rides, graduation, and Cole's commissioning. Stefanie then moved to Palmdale, California while Cole moved to Fort Benning, GA where they were again on complete opposite sides of the country. Each worked hard at their goals while planning their next step together... They finally got engaged in May 2021 while watching the sunset at Golden Beach in Venice, FL! Since then, they've moved to Fayetteville, NC, gotten married in Charlotte, bought a house, become dog parents, and continued to excel in work and school. While they signed the papers and said "I do" on July 9th, 2021, they cordially invite you to celebrate their marriage with a wedding celebration on July 10th, 2022 in Youngsville, NC surrounded by friends and family.
