Felt like it was only yesterday.. Two young adults, a Trinidadian man and an American Guyanese woman, were very much in love, courting in a relationship for three years. But let's rewind back to the past just a little bit, shall we? His name is Steffon Rampaul and her name is Kelly Sukhan. These two lovebirds met, due to a mutual person in their lives. It turns out that this mutual person was Steffon's cousin! What was even more amazing and mind-blowing, was that his cousin used to live in the same building as Kelly! Talk about soulmates! Anyways, Steffon saw his cousin texting Kelly in a group chat one day and ended up taking a sneak-peek at her default profile picture. Steffon was immediately attracted to Kelly and wanted to know about her for himself. Long story short, Steffon and Kelly ended up texting frequently. Frequent texting turned into goofy jokes, which turned to long-phone calls, and eventually led to going out on dates. These two love food and Jesus! That's their love language. This couple attended Sunday Service at CFM NYC to worship and praise their first love, which is their Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ together, with Kelly's family. Around the second year of their courting relationship, Steffon planned a beautiful proposal for Kelly in Central Park, with breath-taking scenery by the water under a bridge. Kelly didn't know what was going on, she was literally blind-folded, thinking that he was going to surprise her with a present. He unwrapped her blindfold and she saw Steffon on one knee, with flower-petals on the ground and two ducks literally right next to the proposal watching the couple, and asked Kelly to marry him. She agreed to marry him and the random ducks swam away together after the couple was rejoicing their new engagement. That's our long, long, long, story combined in a short sweet summary.
