We met in 2021 while working together at the Pedalin Pig in Boone, NC when we were both students at Appalachian State University. After being friends for a while, we started seeing each other just about every day outside of work. After only about a month of seeing each other, Jacob asked me to officially be his girlfriend sometime in early June (we count it as June 1st!). After doing long distance for a while, we moved to Richmond, Virginia together.

In May of 2023, we took a trip back to Boone, North Carolina where we hiked up to Rough Ridge. I walked ahead and Jake asked two other hikers to take our picture. When we were taking the picture, Jake got on one knee and popped the question!

Some of our favorite things to do together include pickle ball & tennis, paddle boarding, traveling, arcade bars, trying new (and old favorite) restaurants, going to concerts & events.

We are a family of 5 including us, our dog Gunner, and our two bunnies Bink and Buffy.

We have been to at least 10 different states and 3 different countries together.
