What is the wedding day itinerary?
The wedding ceremony will begin at 1:00pm sharp at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Oconomowoc. We ask all guests to arrive promptly beforehand to avoid interrupting the Mass and ceremony. Guests should start arriving to the reception venue at fete in Wales starting at 4:00pm to be seated by 4:45pm for the grand march and meal prayer. Dancing will follow and the night will conclude with the last dance at 10:30pm.

How do I RSVP?

What date should I RSVP by?
In order to get an accurate guest count for our vendors, we ask that you please RSVP by June 15th, 2026.
Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?
We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, in order to keep the guest count at venue capacity. The name of every guest invited to attend is listed on your invitation and the RSVP page on our website. No additional guests can be accommodated.
CEREMONY
When should we arrive at the Church?
The wedding ceremony will begin at 1:00pm sharp. We ask all guests to arrive by 12:45pm to be seated and avoid interrupting the Mass and ceremony.
Is there a dress code?
While there is no formal dress code, we do ask that you dress appropriately, being mindful that the church is a sacred and holy place. Out of respect for the Sacrament, very low-cut or revealing outfits should be avoided.
Will there be Mass during the ceremony?
Yes, there will be a traditional Catholic Mass as part of the marriage ceremony. We ask that only practicing Catholics receive the Eucharist during communion, though everyone is invited to come up towards the altar, crossing their arms over their chest to receive a blessing!
Is it ok to take photographs during the ceremony?
While we love that you want to capture our special moments, the church is a sacred place and we kindly ask that you be present with us and refrain from any phone usage or photography during the ceremony. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for the ceremony and the Mass.
Will there be a receiving line after the ceremony?
Due to St. Jerome's weekend schedule, we are required to be out of the church by 2:30pm and will not have a receiving line after the wedding ceremony.
RECEPTION
When should we arrive at the reception venue?
After the ceremony, a solo cellist will greet guests arriving at the venue beginning at 3:30pm. Prior to dinner, there will be a cash bar from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. We ask that everyone be at the venue before 4:45pm so that they can find their seats and get settled in time for the grand march and meal prayer.
Will there be an open bar?
While there will not be a full open bar, we will have complimentary select tap beer, signature cocktails, and soft drinks starting at 5pm, while supplies last. Guests are invited to bring cash or credit cards to purchase any alcohol outside of what is provided.
What time does the reception go to?
Last call for drinks will be at 10:00pm, with the last dance at 10:30pm. Immediately after, clean up will begin as everything and everyone have to be packed up and out of the venue by 11:00pm.

Do you have wedding blocks?
We have room blocks set up at a variety of hotels in the area ranging in price. To get a room at the wedding block rate, please reserve your room by July 1st, 2026. Check the Hotels page for reservation links and more information.
What should I do if I don't make it into the room block?
If you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our block, reach out to the hotel and mention our wedding anyway—they may be able to accommodate you with our discount in a room outside of our block. If not, there are a number of other accommodation options in the area.
Will there be a shuttle running to hotels?
Yes, a shuttle will make limited runs from the listed hotels to the reception venue before dinner and from the reception back to hotels at the end of the night. Carpooling is also a recommended option. Please see the Hotels page for more information. We ask that all guests drinking alcohol plan accordingly and responsibly.
Can we leave a vehicle at the reception venue overnight?
Yes. You are able to leave vehicles in the parking lot of the reception venue overnight, but vehicles must be off the property by 9:00am Sunday morning. We ask that all guests drinking alcohol plan accordingly and responsibly.
