Lyle and Steph started dating in February 2019. For the 4th of July that year, he flew to Utah so he could take a road trip with Steph and family to Oregon to celebrate together.

By the end of 2019, Lyle moved to Utah to live with Steph. They celebrated holidays together with her family.

In 2021, Lyle and Steph moved back to Pennsylvania where they had grown up together. They still did their best to make the annual trip to Oregon, though decided to fly instead of drive.

They went to the historic Louvre while visiting the City of Love.

In 2023 after 4 years together, 3.5 years of living with one another, and 2.5 years of owning a home together, Lyle proposed to Steph while in Paris for her 30th birthday, and she said yes.
