TRANSPORT:Transportation will be provided for guests to and from the venue on the wedding day.A bus will pick-up guests at 2 pm from the Ramada Belleville to bring them to The Eddie Hotel and Farm.Additionally, there will be two pick up times at the end of the evening to bring guests from the venue back to the Ramada Hotel in Belleville ADULT ONLY EVENT:While we love to watch your children run and play, this is an adult only kind of day.

Our Wedding

Everyone loves a how we met or love story but not all stories start with a bang, and our story is no different. HOW WE METThe year is 2013. Where do people go to order 10$ pitchers with their friends in Timmins to watch the Habs vs Leafs? The first time we met was at none other than the Wacky Wings. Cole was working at Air Creebec at the time and Steph was in her second year of Nursing. The story was paused for several years after this first meeting until 2017 when a mutual friend (aka Kourtney K) decided to play matchmaker. THE FIRST DATEAt this point, Cole was living in Brighton and Steph was in Timmins, and logistically planning a first date would be tricky. Cole decided meeting in Toronto would be the best scenario and planned a dinner and a Raptors game for the first date. Steph was booked on the morning flight and would have more than enough time before dinner and the game. Great plan right? The weather thought otherwise. Steph's plane was cancelled due to a snow storm and she decided to drive to Toronto instead because there was no way she was missing this date. Aside from the speeding ticket, missed dinner reservations and Steph getting ready in an Esso gas station bathroom, the rest of the day was one to remember. Over the next year and a half, they made the most of their long-distance relationship. Meeting anywhere from Timmins, New Liskeard, Ottawa to Brighton, New York or Florida. Time was spent planning the next adventure, whether it was a concert, friends' weddings, hockey games, etc. Of all places, meeting at the cottage at Twin Lakes became the favourite. THE BIG MOVEDeciding it was time to put a halt to the long-distance relationship and Steph moved to Brighton in August 2018. Shortly after that, brought home the best little guy Frankie (Boo Boo) McKnight. Throughout the years, the adventures continued and summers were spent at the cottage at Twin Lakes, which is the favorite meeting point for family and friends. THE ENGAGEMENTWhen planning the proposal, Cole decided that Twin Lakes would be the best location. If you haven't already heard the engagement story, let's just say it involves a pontoon ride, a floating buoy in lower twin, a special note in a jar and a whole lot of champagne!
