All shopping in Oregon is TAX FREE, so save a little money beforehand and go crazy.
Our preferred area for shopping in Portland is the West End Downtown - Frances May, Machus, Powell's Books, Self Edge, Kiriko, Kissing Booth, Halo Shoes, Muji, Aesop, Le Labo as well as classics like Nordstrom and Nike.
There are also many other shops on Portland's many little main streets. We would recommend -
- SE Division for cute boutiques
- SE Hawthorne for vintage and thrifting
- N Mississippi for fun bars and shops
- NW 23rd for cool clothing stores and fun energy
- E Burnside past 20th (our neighborhood) for the best food and some fun little shops
Take a hike in Forest Park, see Portland's iconic Rose Garden, and explore the Portland Japanese Garden.
Visit our favorite parks; Laurelhurst, Council Crest, and Mt. Tabor.
Hike the Trail of Ten Falls at Silver Falls State Park.
Go wine tasting in nearby towns - Dundee, McMinnville, and Newberg. Or, if wine's not your thing, visit the olive oil tasting room at Durant at Red Ridge Farms.
