All of our guests will be encouraged to stay at the venue with us for the wedding night, so the party can continue after the DJ stops playing! The accommodation at Sant FFraed is a truly exquisite experience, and part of what made the couple choose this venue. Staying here 1 night is part of the experience of Sant Ffraed and we would like to share this stunning experience with all of their guests. Room charges include a lavish Welsh breakfast the morning after the wedding for our Morning after Brunch. Please note that your rooms have been carefully allocated by the couple, should you have any special requests such as Ground Floor/Quiet room please do feel free to contact them before you confirm your booking. For guests who wish to stay elsewhere, we recommend Premier Inn Abbergavenny which is about 10 minutes away from our Venue.

Sant Ffraed House, Abergavenny, Wales

We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting black tie, formal attire. We recommend wearing something comfortable, yet appropriate. Please no blue jeans! We suggest wearing something you can dance the night away in! If you have any questions regarding the attire, feel free to reach out to the bride or groom.

In October in Wales it will be chilly, we suggest wearing some warm layers, and bring a coat with you for the evening. Our ceremony & Reception will both be held indoors, which will be heated.

Please arrive by 12:30 to Sant Ffraed House, and enjoy a welcome drink on us! Our ceremony begins at 1:30PM, so please be ready and in the reception room to be seated. Please be aware that you will only have room access from 2PM, when check in opens, so please arrive ready for the ceremony, you will be able to access your room from 2PM until the reception begins at 4PM. Bags will need to be kept in your vehicles during the ceremony, and staff will notify you once you may check in* If you have any questions, please feel free get in touch with The Bride or Groom.

A delicious 5 course wedding breakfast is included in our reception, this will include vegan options and cater to all tastes. There will also be evening canopes available for later in the night.

Your presence at the wedding is enough and a gift is not necessary. We will not have a gift registry set up. However, if you wish to gift us something, we would greatly appreciate a contribution towards our dream honeymoon. You can can contribute by scanning the QR code sign that will be next to our card box at our wedding reception. Any contribution towards the honeymoon fund will help us with hotel, airfare, food, and even some excursions we would love to do but may not be able to afford.

Our ceremony will be an "unplugged ceremony". This means no phones/devices! We ask that all our guests follow this. You will have an opportunity to take photos at a given time per our officiant. However, our hired professionals will be taking photos during the entire ceremony and we would like to avoid any phones or devices in the background of said photos. However, we strongly encourage our guests to take pictures/videos during the reception and even post on social media and tag us!
