Can I bring children to the wedding?
While we love all of the children in our lives, with respect, we have decided to make our wedding an adult-only occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share in our big day and have a fun night away from the kids!
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 6 pm. Please plan to arrive at 5:30 and by 5:45 pm to allow for time to get to the ceremony location at the Zoo (held at the Africa Circle area).
What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
The dress code will be cocktail attire. Please refrain from wearing white dresses.
Can I bring a plus one?
In order to accommodate our Venue's capacity, our wedding is strictly RSVP only.
Your invitation will note those who are invited to the wedding, and the online RSVP system will also list those invited.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the Bride and Groom!
Thank you for your understanding!
Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
We do ask that you do not take any pictures during the Ceremony as it will be an 'unplugged' ceremony. We have a team of photographers who will capture this special moment and we will be sharing those pictures after we receive them. For Cocktail hour and Reception, we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #youmezawadzki so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
What will the weather be like this time of year?
Weather this time of year and day will most likely be in the 70s, with a slight chance of some breeze. Minimal rain chances, but it is Florida.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The Ceremony and Cocktail hour will be held outdoors, and the Reception will be held indoors.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, please head over to the Patio area overlooking the Savannah. Here, we will have Giraffes for an extended time for your viewing, as well as will have a Zoo Keeper with an animal for interaction and education.
What should I do if I can’t make it?
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “No” so we can plan accordingly.
Where should guests park? Is parking free?
Guests should park in the Zoo Tampa parking lot. The parking will be free, and spots are first come-first serve. Zoo guests will be leaving the park as the event is held after-hours.
Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?
Yes! The Zoo is wheelchair accessible in all wedding locations in use for our Wedding.
Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?
Yes, we will be serving plated dinners at the reception. When you RSVP, please send with the meal that you choose so we can get the count for each dish. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions we should be aware of, including a nut allergy.
There will be an open bar for cocktail hour and a majority of the reception.
Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?
We will have a Mushroom pasta primavera for those who cannot have meat, and please reach out ASAP if you have any other dietary restrictions so we can see what the venue can accommodate.
Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?
Unfortunately, transportation will not be provided to/from where you are staying. However, there is free parking at the Zoo if you choose to drive. There are also many options for services such as Uber or Lyft in the area.
If you have any more questions, please feel free to reach out to us, and we will be more than happy to answer your question(s) as best as we can. We hope to see you there!
