We all remember 2021... COVID times....

Although those times were filled with loneliness, worry, and sickness, we were fortunate enough to find each other during this time. Both of us were working Whole Foods in the start of the year and our paths crossed when Stephanie would take Joey's temperature and allow him to come into his shifts.

After a few weeks of casual conversations in passing, Joey mustered up the courage to ask Stephanie out on a date after one of their early morning shifts. Stephanie agreed, and we spent the late afternoon getting to know each other over Buffalo Tator Tots and Blue Moon Beer at Cold Beer & Cheeseburgers. One heck of a first date that we'll never forget!

From there, our relationship flourished quickly! By February 2021 we started dating, and spending time getting to know each other better each day. In January 2022, we moved in together in Stephanie's little one bedroom apartment with her cat Sly.

From then until now, we continued to grow our relationship and expand our experiences. We got a new kitty, Millie, in August 2022. That same month, we went on our first big vacation together to Cancun, MX and had the BEST TIME.

In August 2023, we went to the Dominican Republic on our second big vacation and here is where Joey popped the question! Surrounded by Stephanie's best friends, he proposed on the patio of our big suite in our Hotel, Hurricane Hillary brewing up in the distance.

We look forward to continuing to learn about each other, spend time with our friends and family, and snuggle with Millie. We can't wait to have you all join us for our big celebration in February 2025!
