Thanks to being placed in the same middle school P.E. class in 2011, we met each other after Danny chose Steph to be on his volleyball team against his will. We kept in contact after moving on to different high schools through Facebook Messenger, BBM, and Danny's unwavering persistence (the man knew what he wanted). We eventually became each others designated high school prom and homecoming dates *as friends.* On February 1st 2015, Danny's senior year and Steph's junior year of high school, we finally became boyfriend and girlfriend after years of friendship. Ever since then, we've been inseparable, granting us the title of high school sweet hearts (aghhh!!!).

After a year of long distance, we began our college journey together at the one and only Florida State University (Go Noles!!!!). These years consisted of many Township happy hours, Kappa Delta and Theta Chi date functions, and FSU Football tailgates. Throughout our years in Tallahassee, we created priceless and unique memories that we'll never forget and that helped us grow into the people we are today.

In 2018, we made what we would describe as one of our best decisions ever: Ruby. Since then, Ruby has brought an immense amount of joy and laughter into our lives. We consider her our four-legged child and will never stop bragging about how good of a girl she is.

Between 2019 & 2020, we both graduated from FSU with our dream degrees. Due to some crazy circumstances (aka COVID), we moved back to Miami with our families, thankfully continuing to live only 5 minutes away from each other. We always knew Miami was where we wanted to end up together and continue our relationship in.

In 2021, our families officially got vacation homes on the same street in our favorite place, Key Colony Beach. The keys now more than ever hold a special place in both of our hearts. Our little paradise away from home.

This year, we were fortunate and blessed enough to finally move in together in our very own condo!!! Our apartment is our safe place where we binge our favorite tv shows, cook our favorite meals, and host our infamous game and wine nights.

After 8 years, the moment we've all been waiting for finally happened!!! Being able to call each other fiancés has been a dream come true. June 30th, 2023 is a day that neither one of us will ever forget, we can easily say it was the best day of our lives. There was an overwhelming amount of happiness and love felt on this day. We got engaged on the pier of Isla Bella Resort in Key Marathon (10 minutes away from our vacation homes), followed by a beautiful sunset dinner to celebrate with our family, and our very own premium suite to spend the night in (although Steph couldn't sleep too much because of the excitement). We plan to visit this hotel each summer to celebrate this magical day. Next up: calling each other husband and wife!!!
