It was love at first right swipe.


Ryan and Stephanie met on the dating app, Bumble. On Bumble, the woman has to make the first move. Obviously swooned by Stephanie’s suave opening line of “hi,” Ryan just had to meet her.


The meeting was delayed by Ryan going away to Wrestlemania 38 in Dallas, TX. They talked nonstop for two weeks before actually meeting.


The first date had to revolve around one of Ryan and Stephanie’s absolute favorite things: the Chicago Cubs. They set their first date to watch the Cubs Home Opener together on 4/7/2022 against the Milwaukee Brewers at Ryan’s favorite restaurant. For those that know him, that means the one and only Buffalo Wild Wings in Crown Point. The Cubs won 5-4 AND Ryan won over Stephanie on that first date.


They started dating on 4/14/2022. Since then, they have made countless memories. Nights filled with softball and volleyball, concerts, fairs, Cubs games, hot tubbing in the garage, and romantic dinners on their patio. They love to host friends and family for brunch parties and, of course, their annual Super Bowl party. We also can’t forget to mention Ryan falling absolutely in love with Enzo and Atticus the first time he met them. 🐾🐾🐾🐾


For her 30th birthday, Stephanie planned a birthday trip to Las Vegas with friends and family. Little did she know that Ryan had a bit of bling in his pocket.


After the party bus tour that was planned for the night ended up not showing up (thanks, Groupon), Ryan had to panic and come up with a new plan. Ryan got down on one knee at Treasure Island and asked Stephanie if she would marry him. After an excited yes, Ryan and Stephanie were surrounded by loved ones cheering and hugging. And then had to run to their Uber to Fremont Street. The engagement date was 8/17/2023 and it’s been a whirlwind ever since!
