Summer comfort business casual. We understand how hot Kansas can be in the middle of August, so please do not feel like you have to wear a full suit, gentlemen. Ladies, summer dress, capris. Preferably no shorts. Please keep in mind that our ceremony seating will be in grass for your shoe selection. Stiletto or slim heels may sink in the grass.

We will provide the link to the livestream as early as possible both here on Facebook. While we are confident we have everything well established, with our ceremony located at the lake, we are at the mercy of Wi-Fi signal strength the day of the wedding. In the event we run into technical difficulties for the livestream, we will post the uncut video on both our Facebook Save the Date Event and our Merrilly-married YouTube channel immediately after the ceremony.

We have reserved both picnic shelter areas and the Butterfly Garden inside Overlook Park to ensure we have ample parking available. We would ask that our able bodied guests park in the lined parking spaces at the two picnic areas. Parking spaces nearest the Overlook Park gazebo will be reserved for our parents, wedding party and photographer. If any of our guests require close parking due to mobility issues, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate a close space for you. Parking will be allowed around the circle driveway and edges of the road where there is gravel. PLEASE do not park on any grass area.

Clinton Lake is a special place to Lee and Stephanie, and it is important to both of them to be married outdoors in a natural setting near a lake because of how much time they spend on the water for fishing and recreation with each other and their family. It is approximately a 1.5 minute walk down a paved sidewalk from the parking area down to the ceremony seating. Ceremony seating will be set on grass in an open area.

We are putting positive vibes out into the universe, prayers, and a little help from old Irish traditions to send us gorgeous weather. Plus, the Farmer's Almanac says it won't rain! Just in case, stay tune here closer to the wedding day for our backup plan.

Our reception venue will not allow entrance earlier than 5:45PM. From that time on, please feel free to secure refreshments from the bar and mingle until Lee & Stephanie make their appearance as Mr. & Mrs!

Once inside Abe & Jake's Landing, there is a short staircase from the entrance down to a mezzanine level, and then a grand staircase to the main reception area. Abe & Jake's will provide an Elevator Assistant to help our guests with mobility concerns to the lower level. The elevator is located at the end of the entrance area just to the left of the first staircase.

Main Entrance is marked by the yellow star. Riverfront Entrance Parking Garage Directions: The Main Riverfront Entrance is located on the upper level of the parking lot. You are able to access the lower parking garage by continuing to drive straight as you enter the parking lot. Follow the blue arrows on map below. You will see signs in the parking lot that help direct you to the lower level of the parking garage. You will then use the stairs that lead you to the upper level. Abe & Jake’s is located right next door. You can also enter the parking lot from 7th & Rhode Island street shown with the green arrow on the map below. This is a 2-hour ticketing lot with free parking after 5pm. Only park in the yellow lined parking spots to keep from getting a ticket or towed. If you are a guest staying next door at the Springhill Suites, you are able to park in the white lined parking spots as those are designated for hotel guests.
