Baile del Dinero (Money Dance): This tradition involves guests pinning money onto the bride and groom as they dance. It's a way for guests to contribute to the couple's future and show their support. (Bring cash if you would like to participate!)
"Los Padrinos y Madrinas" are chosen by the couple as sponsors or godparents to help organize and support their wedding. These are usually close friends, grandparents, or relatives who are seen as role models for a successful marriage. Being chosen as a Padrino or Madrina is a great honor, and these sponsors often continue to mentor and support the couple throughout their married life, forging lasting bonds. During the reception there will be a special dance where the sponsors will dance with the couple and may receive a special gift.
"La Vibora de la Mar" (The Sea Serpent) dance. It is a traditional Mexican dance where couples stand on chairs or benches while being supported by other participants. The dance involves a series of movements where participants weave around the seated couples, simulating the movements of a serpent (vibora). It's known for its lively and fast-paced nature, with participants sometimes running and pushing as part of the choreography. It's often performed at festive occasions such as weddings and celebrations, where it brings a lot of energy and excitement to the event.
