Riki and Stephanie met in 2018 when they both came back from a one-year mission trip from different nations! They were not close at all and only knew of each other as campus ministers and post-student missionaries. It wasn't until Riki came back from his two-year mission trip in the summer of 2023 that their journey began!

After Riki came back to America, Stephanie and Riki served in many different states for mission training and mobilization! In the fall of that year, they both lived in Dallas with a team to prepare for a mission conference together. By God's grace, during that time, Riki started to like Stephanie, and after the mission conference, Stephanie began to reciprocate his feelings. They started dating in February, got engaged in June, and will get married in August! Afterwards, they will continue on the path to serve Jesus as long term missionaries~!
