Join us for an evening on the water with dinner, drinks, and beautiful Cabo views as we celebrate together before the big day. It was a hot summer day, the kind that makes you want to cannonball into a pool and never come out. Stephanie had just arrived at *the* pool party of the summer, flanked by her girlfriends, ready to dance, vibe, and absolutely *not* fall for anyone. Boys? Meh. She was there for the music. Meanwhile, Tae had *literally* just landed back in town from Ohio. Jet-lagged? Maybe. Determined to rally? Definitely. His friend dragged him out, promising a good time and perhaps—who knows—a fateful encounter (though that part wasn’t on the invite). As the music pulsed and floaties bobbed across the mile-long pool (we’re talking Olympic meets Lazy River), Connie kept nudging Steph: “Okay, but who do you think is cute?” Steph waved her off—she was too busy grooving to even notice anyone. Until… Cue: *a majestic unicorn float enters stage left.* There he was—Tae—paddling across the pool in slow, floatie-powered glory, making eye contact with Stephanie like he was inviting her to hop on his Unicorn. Steph blinked. Connie *definitely* took mental notes. As golden hour hit and the party settled into its smooth, sun-drenched groove, Connie spotted Tae within earshot. She did what any good friend would do: went full matchmaker. Marching up to him, she casually asked, “Hey! Are you into Asians?” Tae, unfazed and apparently very into honesty, replied, “Yes.” And that’s all Connie needed. She grabbed him by the arm, like a talent scout with a discovery, and presented him to Steph like, “TA-DA! Steph, meet my friend Tae!” Steph turned, saw what was happening, and just started cracking up. She had no idea this was a matchmaking mission—but hey, she wasn’t mad about it. From that moment on, Tae basically glued himself to her side like a very charming shadow. They danced the night away, laughing, vibing, fully forgetting the rest of the world. And before the night was over, Tae leaned in with a bold declaration:“You’re my girlfriend—you just don’t know it yet.” Steph laughed, thinking it was a smooth (if slightly cheesy) line. But turns out… it wasn’t just a line. Because soon, Steph *would* know.And one day, she'd say "I do."
