Our Wedding

Some love stories begin with a grand gesture. Ours began with a glance across a hallway on a high school tour.She was a confident sophomore. He was an incoming freshman—wide-eyed, nervous, and thought she looked pretty. He admired her from afar, thinking there was no way someone like her would ever notice someone like him. Fate, however, had other plans. Once he got accepted to St. Ignatius College Prep, he saw that she was boarding the same Muni 29 bus as him. He remembered her instantly, but still didn’t have the courage to speak. And then—just like that—she walked up to him at the back of the bus and said "hi don't I know you from somewhere?" They clicked right away and exchanged phone numbers. They shared countless mini-adventures: late-night phone calls that stretched for hours, bonding over video games and SpongeBob, and building a friendship that felt like home. They would wander the mall lost in deep conversation, worked out together at the park, grabbed food, and soaked up those simple, joyful moments that turn into lifelong memories. Back then, she didn’t want a relationship because she was moving to Los Angeles for college—but I guess he was just too handsome to ignore (probably her words). Still, he respected her space. They stayed close friends throughout high school, and after graduation, they’d catch up whenever she was in town. But, like most young stories, life took them in different directions for a while. Then came 2018. A mutual friend had a birthday party, and they both showed up. Something had changed. She saw him not as the high school freshman with a crush, but as the man he had become. And him? He made sure she knew he was serious this time. They reconnected slowly—mini dates, long conversations—and then she invited him on a road trip to the Grand Canyon. And somewhere between the desert roads and that breathtaking canyon view, they realized: this wasn’t just a friendship rekindled. This was the start of forever.

If you are flying in, Oakland Airport (OAK) is the closest airport to the venue. You can also fly into San Francisco Airport (SFO).

You can book a stay any time between Thursday October 16- Monday October 20. You can book a single night only or you can book multiple nights to match your accommodation needs. We reserved a room block reservation under "Stephanie and Michael Wedding." You can book directly with the hotel using the booking website link. This hotel is a 10 minute drive to the wedding venue. We recommend taking uber so we all have a fun and safe night. It is $139 per night under our room block. The last day to book at our discounted rate is September 1st 2025.
