Beginning of January 2021, Brett was working every week in West Virginia, only coming home to Michigan on the weekends and Stephanie was finishing her last semester of nursing school. The two of them met the old-fashioned way... on a dating app during the pandemic! No restaurants in Michigan were open to eat inside at the time so naturally, their first date took place over Skype. However, the connection was bad so they ended up just talking on the phone for about 4 hours. They eventually met in person and went on many fun dates! One of the first dates included going to an escape room in Ohio where their team name was "Team Dweeb".. and it was very fitting for them! (this was also their first photo together!)

A year later in February 2022, Steph officially moved in with Brett in their home in Auburn Hills, Mi.

They welcomed their first child... their perfect, goofy, golden boy, Atlas!! ♥️

A few months later, they completed their family by welcoming their sweet little golden girl, Maizie!! ♥️

They hosted Easter Sunday at their house with some of their friends and family.. after the Easter Egg hunt, Brett handed Steph an egg.. she opened it and saw that it had a ring in it... he got down on his knee and asked her to marry him and she said “YES, OF COURSE” 😭🥰 ♥️ Getting engaged in their backyard, surrounded by family and friends was an absolute dream.. They cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives together ♥️♥️
