You know those moments where everything just falls into place even if it starts off kind of awkward? Yeah, this is one of those stories.

We first met thanks to a very "coincidental" ( suspiciously well-planned) California trip arranged by Emilio's best friend, Mario, and Stephanie's sister, Danielle. We both agreed to go separately on our own terms- not realizing we'd be third wheeling them... and possibly first wheeling us.

At first. it was a little awkward. Two strangers tagging along with a couple in love, it was a classic setup. So, naturally, we started talking to make things less weird. And just like that , something clicked. Our conversations went from small talk to big laughs filled with the kind of jokes that only made sense to us.

As the trip went on, we found ourselves sneaking in our own little adventures, getting to know each other more, and pretending we weren't slowly catching feelings. We were both way to shy to admit at this time- but looking back, everyone else probably saw it coming.

Once we got back home, we decided to hang out again- this time with zero third wheels, no vacation itinerary, and no pretending. And well...

Now we're here- planning a wedding, trying not to stress, and feeling grateful every single day. We can't wait to celebrate this moment with all of you. Because while this story is ours, it wouldn't be the same without our people, our day ones, our family, and our very patient bridal party.

Hay momentos en la vida donde todo encaja perfectamente... incluso si emieza un poco incomodo. Esta es una de esas historias.

Nos conocimos gracias a un viaje a California "casualmente" planeado por el mejor amigo de Emilio, Mario, Y la hermana de Stephanie, Danielle. Ambos aceptamos ir- por separado, y bajo nuestros propios terminos- sin saber que ibamos a terminar siendo los terceros en una cita doble... y, sin querer, los primeros en escribir nuestra propia historia.

Al principio fue un poco raro. Dos desconocidos acompanando a una pareja enamorada... Clasico.

Asi que, para romper el hielo y evitar la incomodidad, empezamos a hablar. Y asi, sin darnos cuenta, conectemos. Nuestras conversaciones pasaron de ser simples a estar llenas de risas- con chistes que solo nosotros entendiamos.

Durante el viaje, comenzamos a tener nuestras propias pequenas aventuras, conociendonos mas, mientras fingiamos que no nos gustabamos. Los dos eramos demasiado timidos para admitirlo, pero, viendolo ahora, seguro que todos los demas ya lo veian venir.

Al regresar a casa, decidimos salir otra vez- esta vez sin terceros, sin itinerario, y sin pretender nada. Y bueno...

Ahora estamos aqui- planeando una boda, tratando de no estresarnos, y sintiendonos agradecidos cada dia. No podemos esperar para celebrar este momento con todos ustedes. Porque aunque esta historia es nuestra, no seria lo mismo sin nuestra gente- los de siempre, nuestra familia, y nuestro muy paciente cortejo nupcial.
