Lanouaille is a small village within walking distance of Château la Durantie, it has a hotel, bed and breakfasts and local shops which include:

A Total petrol station is just outside Lanouaille in the direction of St. Yrieix/Limoges.

St. Yrieux and Excideuil both have a wider selection of shops (both 15 min by car)

Excideuil has a wine shop (Cave Ricou) close to the Château, St. Yrieix has a wine shop with an amazing selection situated on the main road (Cave au Baccus).

Supermarkets:

Local Carrefour in Lanouaille (direction Perigueuxu/Excideuil, on the right side at the end of the village).

St. Yrieix has several supermarkets, with the biggest selection offered by the Intermarche (follow direction

Glandon to the east) and the Hyper Casino which is at the other end of the town direction Limoges.

Alternatives are Super U, Lidl’s or Netto.

In Excideuil there is a large Super U.
