We met believe it or not through Match.com. Scott had thought that he had deleted his account until he received a message from me on Sunday at about 8pm. He ended up responding to me and I am so glad he did!

Our first date was at a little German bar in Renton. We talked so much that night, we didn't even finish our pretzel. We talked endlessly about boating and found out that both our families had their boats moored one dock away at Elliot Bay Marina. We took twenty minutes to just say goodbye at my car that night. It was the best first date.

Before we knew it we were meeting each other's families at Easter and spending so much time at each other's places. And then not too long after we moved in together. We've gone on so many adventures together that we will cherish forever. From short little weekend trips to the Oregon Coast, to our week long winter road trip through Oregon, to driving 5 hours one way to get our sweet boxer Carly, to traveling to Minnesota to visit his family, to spending 9 days in Jasper and Banff National park, to boating with both our families, to even the little moments of spending lazy Sundays on the couch with our pups.

And now...we are onto our next adventure of getting married and we can't wait to share our love and our wedding day with our families and closest friends.
