Sivan and Stephanie spent much of our lives in the same orbit but only began our love story in 2023. As young children they lived down the road from each other and spent one summer at the same camp (but different groups). Later meeting up in high school in their home town on Long Island where they shared many friends in common yet did not spend much time together. Fast forward to their college years where Sivan would visit Washington, D.C. offen to visit friends at American University (the same college Stephanie went to). In 2003/2004 they both lived only a few minutes from each other in D.C., but their paths once again did not cross.

In 2021, Sivan, who was now living in NYC, met up with Stephanie for a friendly drink to reconnect as former classmates. Little did we know that our friendship would blossom into a deep love. By the Fall of 2023 they both knew there was a special connection they could not ignore. Through six months of long distance dating, they were able to close that distance when Stephanie moved to Madison, WI to be with Sivan and his daughter in February. On March 27, 2024, Sivan asked Stephanie the most important question one can ask - will you marry me.

We could not be more excited to spend our lives together. Forever best friends, partners and champions of each other. Life is more fun and sweet when we are together. Thank you to the invisible string that kept us connected and brought us together at the right time.
