Within walking distance of the hotels are tons of great restaurants and Indianapolis staples!

Iozzo's Garden of Italy: Sam and Steph's favorite Italian restaurant! When in doubt, get the lasagna - it's incredible. (Iozzo's is fairly small inside, would recommend trying to make a reservation/call ahead)

Shapiro's Delicatessen: Authentic Jewish deli and and Indianapolis staple for over 100 years. Casual environment, very spacious, tons of food options.

Greek Islands: Located directly between Iozzo's and Shapiro's, classic Greek restaurant with great food and cozy atmosphere. (again, would recommend a reservation as the restaurant is converted from a house so smaller dining room).

Kilroys: Did you really visit Indiana if you didn't go to Kilroys? Known for their stuffed breadsticks and expansive drink menu, Kilroys is a great sports bar and in the heart of the city.

Helium Comedy Club: Sam and Steph love a date night at the comedy club. Located in the heart of downtown Indy


Sports: Downtown Indy is home to the Colts, Pacers, and Fever (aka Caitlyn Clark)


Mass Ave: Massachusetts Avenue is arguably the most walkable neighborhood in downtown Indy, lined with countless, unique restaurants and bars.
-Sam is a regular at The Chatham Tap English Soccer Pub, with a fun environment and famous for their wings
-Steph's favorite restaurants on Mass Ave: The Livery, Bodhi, and Goodfellas Pizza
-Tini and Metro are two neighboring LGBTQ clubs that are always having fun events
-Bottleworks District is at the end of Mass Ave and is home to The Garage food hall and Pins which is a bar and game spot (bowling, ping pong, yard games, etc.)


Fowling: In a unique area just outside of downtown, Fowling is a mix between football and bowling and a fun activity for everyone! (typically need at least 4 people to play)


Karaoke and Country Music (Steph's family and friends, this is for you): in downtown Indianapolis The Wild Beaver Saloon is a casual karaoke bar, definite crowd pleaser
