April 2020 Chris and Stephanie were set up by Stephanie’s cousins Mo & Jonathon Sarna and Chris’ family friend Mike Cachey. They met in the beginning of the 2020 Covid shut down, so not having many options where to go on a first date, Chris had Stephanie over to his house for dinner. After giving Stephanie his address they quickly realized they only lived 5 minutes away from each other. Chris and Stephanie have been inseparable ever since. Since then, they have created endless memories together on all their amazing trips, family functions, and hosting parties at their house.

For Chris’ 30th birthday Chris convinced Stephanie he wanted to go on a trip to Key West Florida, so she began planning a trip that Chris would never forget, however, Chris was doing the same. Little did Stephanie know, this trip was actually a disguise for their surprise engagement! On April 30th, 2023 after dragging Stephanie away from the pool and to start getting ready for dinner, Chris took her for a walk down the beach with a stop right in front of the most perfect palm tree right by the water and got down on one knee and asked Stephanie ‘will you marry me?’ Which she replied with.. “you really like me that much?!” But ultimately she said yes!
