Our Wedding

Stephanie and Kevin’s love story began at a wedding in May of 2021. Kevin had the privilege of walking Stephanie’s grandmother, Gam, down the aisle. While getting to know each other before the ceremony, Gam asked Kevin if he brought a plus-one. Kevin responded to Gam saying, “No, no one special enough to take with me”. Little did he know, he would meet the love of his life hours later during the after party. As the night progressed, Gam insisted that Stephanie meet Kevin. Stephanie thought it was so embarrassing that her grandmother was trying to set her up. Gam made sure to tell Stephanie’s brother, Joe, to make sure Stephanie meets Kevin at some point in the night. It wasn’t until the end of the night at the after party, Joe went up to Kevin and started talking. A few moments passed as Stephanie was wondering what he was saying to the man her grandmother wanted her to meet. Before she knew it, Joe was shoving her into Kevin. They began talking and hit it off right away. Stephanie and Kevin met for their first date at Ridley Creek State Park. While walking through the park, Kevin joked and said, “Maybe one day I will propose to you in this same spot.” Little did Stephanie know that this would actually come true. Fast forward 2 years, Kevin went metal detecting with Stephanie’s father, Brian, in Sea Isle and asked for his blessing in marrying his daughter. After receiving Brian’s blessing, they hit a treasure buried a few feet under the sand. This was in fact the biggest find Brian has ever had while metal detecting! It was a perfect morning for Kevin and Brian. They both walked off the beach smiling ear to ear that morning. A few months after Stephanie’s family vacation, Kevin planned a hike at Ridley Creek State Park. Stephanie did not make it easy for Kevin. She asked him multiple questions about the hike he was planning. Three minutes into their hike, Kevin started to walk Stephanie into the Gazebo at the park. Kevin began to ask Stephanie if she remembered what he said on their very first date at the Ridley Creek State Park. Kevin got down on one knee and asked Stephanie to marry him! It was all captured on camera by Stephanie’s Aunt Jen, who was hiding in the trees taking pictures. The surprises for Stephanie weren’t over yet. Stephanie’s parents (Brian and Bernadette) planned the most amazing surprise engagement party for the both of them. Stephanie and Kevin were able to celebrate the rest of the day with close family and friends. We can’t wait to celebrate more with our friends and family and dance the night away at The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve on 05/10/2025!

IS THERE A DRESS CODE? Our wedding dress code is Formal. We'd love to see our family and friends dressed up for our big day.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE CEREMONY? The ceremony will start promptly at 1pm. We ask that you arrive and be seated no later than 12:45pm.

IS THERE PARKING ON-SITE? Yes, there is plenty of parking at both St. Madeline's Church and The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve. The Hilton Garden Inn Newtown Square is a three-minute drive and a short walk from The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve. There will be a complimentary shuttle to and from hotel and the venue.

Shuttle from the Hilton Garden Inn to the Ballroom at Ellis Preserve will begin at 4:45pm and run until about 5:45pm. Shuttle from the Ballroom at Ellis Preserve to the Hilton Garden Inn will begin at 9:30pm and run until 12:30am.

While there is short gap between the ceremony and cocktail hour, some places to check out are La Scala's Fire and Teca located right near the venue. This is also the perfect time to check into your hotel room. We look forward to celebrating and dancing the night away.
