Getting to Raleigh

RDU is an easily navigable airport, and only a short drive away from the venue / recommended hotels. You should also have no issues getting an Uber or Lyft to and from the airport if you don’t want to rent a car!

Lodging

We've set up a room block at the Tru by Hilton just down the street from the venue, but there are plenty of additional hotels in the downtown and greater Raleigh area for any price range! We also recommend checking out Airbnb and VRBO for larger families / groups.

This hotel is just a 6-minute drive from the wedding venue, and close to a variety of stores and restaurants. Complimentary breakfast is included in the room rate! Rooms not booked by June 25, 2025, will be released back to the public, so we recommend booking early to get the group rate! We don't have a room block set up here, but this is a suggestion for anyone who would rather stay in downtown Raleigh. This hotel has a rooftop bar and is in close proximity to many other restaurant and bar options!

Here are just a few of our recommendations if you’re in town early for the wedding and looking for places to go! Feel free to reach out and ask us directly if you need more specific recommendations!

This is a fun spot to grab a drink and play a few retro arcade games! Fun fact: Steph beat Trevor in the basketball game three times during our first date (and yes, he was actually trying).

Boxcar Bar + Arcade

Great option if you're in the mood for margs and queso. Fair warning: they do not take reservations, and can get pretty busy (Trevor learned that the hard way on our first date).

La Santa Modern Mexican Food

If you don't really know what you're in the mood for food wise, this is the perfect spot. With a wide variety of options including pizza, tacos, and rolled ice cream, you can't go wrong here. They also have axe throwing if you're looking for something to do!

Morgan Street Food Hall

Great food for all meals of the day, especially brunch. The pretzel appetizer and mimosa flight are highly recommended!

Parkside Restaurant

This place holds the Guinness World Record for most beers on tap with over 350. With their online menu, you can use the surprise me button to broaden your horizons and try new (and potentially weird) beers!

Christina and Steph met in English class freshman year of high school, and have been friends ever since Ms. Bridges sat them next to each other! She’s always the first person Steph texts when she goes home to see her parents, and they can often be found catching up over margaritas!

Fun fact: Katie and Steph have been friends since freshman year of college, but have actually known each other since high school! All it took was moving 8 hours away from home, roommate drama, and engineering student stress to bring them together and start a friendship centered on craziness and Spaghetti Sundays (if you know, you know).

Courtney is Steph's sister-in-law, and Steph was a bridesmaid in her wedding as well. She’s been a huge help with all of our wedding planning questions, and is the best mom to Steph’s nephew! Thanks for picking a good one, Mikey!

Lauren and Steph lived on the same floor freshman year of college and became friends after suffering through Matlab and Chem 2 together. Steph was a bridesmaid in Lauren's wedding in May of 2025 as well, and they’ve bonded over the joys (and horrors) of wedding planning!

Danielle and Steph met by sitting at the same table in Calc 1 on the first day of college. Danielle, Ally, and Steph were all roommates senior year as well! Steph can always count on Danielle to answer her random texts sharing her every thought throughout the day and be down to go get coffee whenever they’re together.

Ally is the kind of supportive friend that’s always up for everything, and Steph can always count on her to come along for any crazy adventures that come up. 

Ally Smallwood

Kyle is Trevor's younger brother, and one of Trevor's favorite people to be around. Kyle is an outspoken guy who will say what needs to be said, but also wears his heart on his sleeve. He is one of the most loyal, and interesting people to be around. Whether it be their senses of humor, unique take on sporting news, or just life events, Trevor and Kyle always seem to have a great time together. Trevor couldn't have asked for anybody better to be standing next to him on this day, and is excited to celebrate more of life with his best friend by his side.

Kyle Campbell

Trevor met Brent in 4th grade in Mrs. Nuckolls' class. They bonded due to their mutual interest in sports and video games. Ever since then, they've been great friends, and Trevor knows he can always turn to Brent to brighten his day or to just hear something to make him laugh or smile. Brent is one of the funniest, and most positive people you will meet. Trevor had the honor of standing with Brent at his wedding, and is excited to have Brent standing with him as well.

Brent Ferow

Trevor has known Hayden for a long time, ever since they met at preschool. Anyone who knows Hayden will agree that he is one of the kindest, and most loyal people you will ever meet. He has truly been one of the best friends and overall people that Trevor could ask to have in his life. Trevor had the honor of being Hayden's best man at his wedding, and is ecstatic to have him standing with him as well.

Hayden Hungerford

Trevor has known Ian since 1st grade, and it is safe to say at this point that he has never met anybody as driven and disciplined as Ian. Ian is one of the people Trevor can go to for the hard truth, and the most well-rounded advice. Although they have been going to different places and schools since high school, they have always managed to be a big part of each other's lives. 

Ian Cairns

Trevor met Peter through Ian, and their mutual interest for soccer and Manchester United bonded them immediately. Trevor and Peter have a lot of similar opinions, and a lot of different ones as well, maintaining an interesting and unique dynamic with each other. When it comes to having a good time and exploring new things to do, Peter is one of the best people to have around. It is safe to say that Peter is one of the most cultured people Trevor has met. 

Peter Miklas

Trevor and Raul met in 6th grade, as they had 4 out of 6 classes together their first semester. Having similar senses of humor, they bonded quickly, and Trevor grew to learn that Raul has the most contagious laugh out there. Anyone who has spent time with Raul knows his heart and appetite for fun are both in abundance. Anytime Trevor is back home in Michigan, and wants to have a good time with his friends, Raul is one of the first people that comes to mind. 

Raul Hernandez

Jackson is Steph’s nephew! He may try eating the ring pillow or throwing it at innocent bystanders, but he’s cute so we’ll allow it.

As many of you know, we’re currently in the process of moving into a new home! While we’re moving between places, we’ve hidden the registry to make sure nothing accidentally shows up to the wrong address.   Your presence and love for us are the greatest gifts of all, but if you are looking to give something extra please check back after May 5th!
