It all started with Dominick sliding into Stephanie’s DM’s on Instagram messaging “Are those as good as people say they are”, in reference to Crumbl cookie. Which led into a conversation about food, something that to this day is still a typical topic of discussion in our relationship. Something that was so simple turned into a deep and meaningful conversation shortly after about life. Somehow, with only knowing eachother for a short bit of time, and never had met, our conversations and our connection started to grow. We both found eachother so in captivating. It wasn’t the right timing though for us, and we both knew that if it was meant to be it would! Little did we know what God had in store for us a year later🤍


Fast forward to April 2023, Dominick missed Stephanie so much I guess he decided to reach out and see how everything was going. With intent of course. Surprised to hear from him, I told him to call me the next day and was pretty hesitant (also happy and freaking out inside lol). A “Hey, how’s it going?” turned into, “I would really like to pick up where we left off..” and we did just that. We talked about everything, and I mean EVERYTHING! Nothing was off limits! If you know anything about me, you know how forward and blunt I am. I said, “Ok, so I’m going to ask you three questions and if we are aligned in these three areas, then we can meet and move forward with getting to know eachother. 1) What is your relationship like with God? 2) Do you drink or party? 3) How do you view marriage/ what defines marriage for you? Dominick answered these questions so in depth and so far beyond the typical topical response, I was shocked! And not shocked that he answered the way he did, but the fact that we are aligned in every single thing, each detail was described as if he was in my mind and I was in his.. I put so much emphasis on this because this is our foundation, the importance of each one of these questions sparked 100 more questions- consistent with one another. Our values and morals were already aligned,


On June 9th, it was finally the day that we were going to meet! After hundreds of hours already spent getting to know one another, we both were still nervous to meet the other! Our first date was to the Versace Mansion in South Beach, FL. IT WAS A DREAM, and the best night ever! We couldn’t stop laughing and saying “Oh me too! Yes! Same!” Needless to say, this was the beginning to forever and we had no idea..


July 30st 2023, We became official🤍 Doing long distance was not ideal for the two of us, but it was what we were going to do! We saw eachother about once a month and did marriage devotionals every Sunday to prepare us for the idea of marriage with one another. We even got baptized together! What a special moment for the two of us to invite the Lord into our lives individually and together unifying us forever!

Christmas 2023 was the date that changed our lives forever. This was the day Dominick asked for my hand in marriage and of course I cried and said YES!!! Now we get to celebrate our love with our family and close friends:) God is so good!
