We met on the softball field in 2017 and became friends. In 2018, I pursued Jim first by texting him trying to make conversation so he would see I was interested. Finally, Jim caught on that I liked him and he asked me out on our first date. We had our first date at Philly Sports Bar and shared our first kiss that night. We knew from that night that our connection was something special. We continued to go out on dates and get to know eachother more. In June 2018, Jim asked me to be his girlfriend. We dated for 2 amazing years and made so many memories. We ended up taking some time apart. This time was hard for us but I needed to grow and work on my mental health. Jim was always so supportive of me. We found our way back to eachother at the end of 2021 and it felt like we picked off right where we left off. We always knew we were meant to be together and time proved that. Our love never skipped a beat and we started to spend time together again. Jim asked me to be his girlfriend again in Feb 2022. In Dec 2022, we took a trip to Mexico and Jim asked me to marry him in a sports bar in Mexico. Our first date was at a sports bar, so it was the perfect spot to get engaged. Our love is so strong and continues to grow everyday. We moved into our new home in Aug 2023 and continue to build a amazing life together. We can’t wait to get married with all of our family and friends in June 2024!
