Enjoy real cowtown experience at The Northside
· Don’t miss the Fort Worth Herd Longhorn Cattle Drive on East Exchange Ave. It happens daily at 11:30 AM and 4:00 PM. You can see a herd of longhorn cattle make their way along the street and have your photo taken atop a longhorn steer.
· Visit Billy Bob’s Texas, “The World’s Largest Honky Tonk,” to grab a beer, catch some live country music. You need to ride a mechanical bull while you are there!
· Visit shops on Mule Alley and pick up some custom made boots or a cowboy hat.
· Stop in for a drink at The Drover Hotel or the rooftop bar at Atico Fort Worth
· Visit world class museums all within walking distance between them. Visit the world renowned Kimbell Art Museum at 3333 Camp Bowie Boulevard. It is open Fri 12-5, Sat 10-5, Sunday 12-5. The Kimbell collection consists of over 350 works that not only epitomize their periods and movements but also touch individual high points of aesthetic beauty and historical importance. Enjoy the architecture by I.M. Pei and Renzo Piano.
· Visit The Modern Art Museum at 3200 Darnell Street. Enjoy lunch at Cafe Modern with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beautiful reflecting pool and grounds. Open daily Tuesday-Saturday and Sunday.
· To see a renowned collection of American art in the heart of Fort Worth's Cultural District visit The Amon Carter Museum at 3501 Camp Bowie. It is open Friday and Saturday 10-5. Sunday 12-5.
· Have a drink at the bar at The Bowie House at 3700 Camp Bowie Blvd. The western decor and art are not to be missed.
· Have one of “coldest martinis in the world" at The Hudson House. It is located at 4600 Dexter Avenue just off Camp Bowie Boulevard.

· Fort Worth Museum of Science and History it’s also a must for children. The programs and exhibits and interpret science and the stories of Texas in the southwest. It is located off Montgomery Street at 1600 Gendy Street.
· Next door to the Science and History Museum is The Cowgirl Hall of Fame at 1720 Gendy Street. It honors the women of the American West with interactive exhibits and interesting memorabilia.
· If you want to step back in time and take a look at life in the 1800’s visit Log Cabin Village off University drive. See log cabins from the 1800’s furnished with authentic artifacts displaying different aspects of pioneer life.
