Now Our Story,
On February 25th, I was approached by a mutual friend, Michelle Lafferty, who after struggling for some time with the thought of match making finally gave in to the urges to say something and shared Brians story with me. He was supposed to come the weekend of April 19th to visit the Laffertys and not know about me so we could meet casually in a group setting. When Brians plans changed they were left with no choice but to tell him that they had a sister in Tennessee they thought he should meet. Well then, the date was back on. Now that we knew about each other, on March 3rd, we began texting, soon after talking then face timing. It became clear quickly that deep connections were being made and we needed to meet in person before April. So, I made my first trip to Michigan. What an amazing week-end spending time with Brian, the girls and the Gallas! Our broken, incomplete lives were starting to feel whole and a new story was beginning! Talks of the future, blending two families, pets and pasts unfolded naturally. On April 20th, the weekend we were supposed to meet for the first time, was the moment that changed our future and that of our children when Brian proposed and I said yes!!! We couldn’t be more sure or happier about this decision and are ready to see what Jehovah has in store for us next! We look forward to celebrating the love and support you have given us through all the years on August 3rd! We are so blessed to have you as part of our past, present and future! Love to all of you!!!
