October 2016 Boy Meets Girl...
After being sceptical of the "success" of dating sites, we both had decided to give it a try... and were so pleasantly surprised when we finally met each other!
We talked everyday on the phone for hours for a few weeks, and then finally when we met in person it was MAGIC. We have been basically inseparable since.
We lived together in Vancouver, Canada for about a year and a half while discovering each other and the city. And when the time came for Brendan's Work Holiday Visa to end, a decision was to be made! Either extend and stay in Canada, or move to Australia together and start a whole new adventure!
In 2018 we moved to Australia! The Gold Coast, to be more specific! The weather is always Sunny, warm, slightly humid but still so beautiful. Everything is so green here!
2020-We adopted our little fur baby Piper in during Covid, and she has settled right into our life purrfectly ;)
2021- In a total surprise to me, Brendan arranged with his family and mine to pop the question at a beautiful mountain top restaurant. My heart bursts thinking about the details that went into this day, and everyone involved efforts. Truly one of the best moments of my life.
2022- We were able to go back to Canada for an Engagement party, and to visit for the first time since the pandemic. It was a beautiful party!
And now, with all of this love in the air and so much possibility of what our future can become, we are just so incredibly excited to share our wedding with you! We hope you will be able to join us and celebrate not only our love, but the fact that we are lucky enough to be able to travel again and see the world and experience another culture!
