Kennebunk/port Beaches - Goochs Beach in Kennebunk or Goose Rocks Beach in Kennebunkport. We recommend going early to get a parking spot and checking the tide schedule beforehand (High tide can significantly impact the amount of beach available). We also suggest checking with your hotel regarding access to and parking at town beaches. Parking can be limited or use a pass system. If you are staying at The Colony, you will have access to their private beach steps away from the hotel.
Franciscan Monastery - The monastery offers quiet walking trails along the Kennebunk River.
8 Beach Ave, Kennebunk, ME 04043
Garden Street Bowl - In addition to bowling, Garden Street offers a full service restaurant and bar (the food is wicked good!). We recommend reserving a lane in advance.
1 Garden St, Kennebunk, ME 04043
Seashore Trolley Museum - An interactive antique transportation museum and fun excursion if you're traveling with little ones.
195 Log Cabin Rd, Kennebunkport, ME 04046
Children's Museum and Theatre of Maine - Another hands-on, interactive museum located in Portland where younger visitors can learn about Maine history and industry. For parents yearning for a post-museum refreshment, Bissell Brothers and Sacred Profane breweries are less than a 5-minute walk away.
250 Thompsons Point Rd, Portland, ME 04102
L.L. Bean Flagship Campus - Roughly 45 minutes from Kennebunkport and possibly one of the only places in the state that is open 24/7. Take a picture with the giant Bean boot and explore the L.L. Bean campus. Pop over to Mast Landing Brewing Company or Maine Beer Company for beers and bites.
