We met on the internet like most people nowadays. Kris was the super cautious one who wanted to meet in public, bowling to be exact. We had been chatting for a bit and I was ready to meet her. I invited her to my parent’s house to watch a movie. We hit it off from then on spending time together and doing the things we love together. We swore to each other we didn’t really want anything serious we were tired of the same old thing and relationships not working out, we were definitely ready for a change in ourselves and in our relationship. Kris took me on a date asked me to be her girlfriend on 4/20!! Our greatest holiday, other than Halloween of course. We chose to be in each others lives everyday after through our tough times and the good times we enjoyed having each other. We grew to love each other with every passing day. With our animals by our side to make this life such a wonderful home. We had both found home in each other and the things we love the most. We had talked a few times about never wanting marriage of course but things had definitely changed living life and healing together was something we both cherished in our relationship. I feel we both just knew we would be together forever. Kris planned us an awesome vacation like she always does going to Hawaii this time I wasn’t expecting anything but Kris had everything planned out. Took me to a beach in Waikiki to watch the sunset this is where she proposed to me, on this stone walkway into the ocean.
