The ceremony and cocktail hour are intended outside, and the reception inside of the barn. The barn does not have AC! The weather could be hot so please dress comfortably!

The attire is semi-formal/business casual. For the Men: Ties are optional. A classic button-down or polo and dressy pants. Please, no shorts. Women: Semi-formal sundress, like a maxi or midi, a jumpsuit, or favorite blouse and dress pants. The venue does not recommend high heels. Given that the barn can get hot, we encourage you to dress light.

Yes! Children are invited; Zoe and Christopher would be thrilled to see them. There will be kid friendly options available. We will have two babysitters to help with all kids also!

Dinner will be BBQ served buffet style with lots of fun treats! You can expect hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour and an open bar. Juice boxes and snacks will be available for kids!

No, they do not. The closest hotels are the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Swedesboro and Hampton Inn Swedesboro.

Follow directions to 533 Kings Highway in Swedesboro NJ. Once you arrive at the sign that says “Rode’s Fireside”, pull into the restaurant parking lot and keep going back until you get to the barn and gravel lot. Someone should help direct you, but the parking lot is to the left in front of the barn when you enter from the restaurant. There’s are two entrances to get to the barn area.
