It was 2022 when our love story began. Just two twenty-something singles who happened to strike up conversation on Hinge about salsa, guacamole, and queso. A picture perfect love story, right?

On our first date, we talked about everything and anything. It didn't take long for us to become inseparable. After a spooky camping trip in a Duluth cabin, plenty of walks with Tristan's pup, Harper, and countless Junkyard dates, we decided to move in together. We quickly settled in to our home and continued living life side-by-side.

Fast forward to December of 2023. We planned an at-home date night before the craziness of the holidays hit. We decided to decorate and exchange empty Christmas ornaments to give each other. Stephanie filled her ornament for Tristan with her favorite photo, an acorn Tristan gave her during a golf date, and an obnoxiously large plastic wedding ring Tristan brought home from an arcade. Tristan placed an engagement ring in the ornament he gave to Stephanie. It was the most beautiful scene: vinyl playing, snow falling, and just the two of us, oh and Harper excitedly jumping on both of us.

We have created a beautiful life together. A life full of so much love, lots of dog hair (thanks to Harper and our newest furry addition, Theodore), and plenty of laughter. The Lumineers have a lyric that says "Love should make you feel good" and that's exactly how we feel. We have love that is effortless. Love that is fun. Love that makes us feel good.

We cannot wait to celebrate our love with our family and friends. See you all in September!
