It Started with a Swipe...

For our first date, we made plans to meet on a summer night in Deep Ellum for some axe throwing action. But before the date even began, Stephanie persuaded George into helping her navigate the parking lot madness due to her fear of driving in downtown Dallas!

By the end of the night, Steph had impressed George with her axe throwing skills and George had impressed Stephanie with his dance moves. And what was planned to be a simple date turned into something much more...

In the spring of 2022, George moved out of his downtown Dallas apartment to be closer to Steph in Plano. And that November, we decided it was time to embark on a new chapter and move in together.

Together, we have tried countless restaurants and bars. We've had picnics in Arbor Hills park. We've seen Steph's favorite comedian every time she's in town. We've debated about movies and tv shows. We've attended 3-day music festivals. We've put on our thinking caps at the Perot Museum. We've adventured in Cancun for a whole week with our best friends. We've had lazy weeknights in sweatpants and fabulous weekends dressed to the nines.

We quickly understood that sharing our time together was what was most important to us. On July 11th, 2023, while we were vacationing in Portugal, George got down on one knee and Steph said "Yes!".

And now as our special day gets closer, we can't contain our excitement! We are thrilled to celebrate with you and can't wait for this next chapter of our lives!
