Q + A

When should I RSVP by?

We are asking for RSVP's by December 15, 2024.

Where do we park?

We very much encourage uber/lyfts for easier parking and more partying! If you choose to drive, there will be limited parking in the retention pond on the bottom of Highland Drive. We will have attendants to assist with parking. Other parking will be available throughout the neighborhood of Myrtle Lake Hills. We ask that if you are parking along the road, please no double parking as the roads are narrow.

Are children allowed to the reception?

We absolutely love children but with the reception being in the field with a lot of water around and the amount of people we have, we have limited children to some family.

Are children allowed at the ceremony?

Yes! We are open to anyone coming to the ceremony and celebrating this sacrament with us. We also totally get that it is a long day to have a babysitter so please bring them along for the "I do's!"

There is a lot of time in-between the ceremony and reception. What should we do?

We estimate the ceremony will be over before 3 and is a 10 min drive to the reception. The restaurant/bar "The Back Porch", across the street from the church, is a great hangout spot to pass the time. You are more than welcome to go home, chill, change, organize the babysitter. Downtown Sanford is where we encourage all those coming into town to stay. While it is a little out of the way, there is plenty time to head down there for a drink or two before coming to the field.

Are there any pre or post wedding activities?

Please check our Things to Do tab to see where we will be!

What is the dress code?

Formal/Semi Formal. With the reception being in the field, Men feel free to take off the jacket/tie you wore to the ceremony and women, your heels may make walking in grass difficult so please bring whatever shoes you want to dance in a field with us! Also, don't forget to check the weather. It will be outside in late March. That can mean a variety of things in Florida.
