It all started with a right swipe - a true Tinder success story!

Stephanie and Dylan went on their first date March 18, 2021, after meeting on a dating app called Tinder. At the time, Dylan was living on base at Camp Pendleton while Stephanie was living in Pacific Beach and finishing her last semester of nursing school at San Diego State University. A few months later Stephanie moved to Nashville, TN to begin her Nurse Residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, while Dylan continued working as a Marine in Southern California. They kept in touch and within one month of moving Stephanie was back in Southern California visiting Dylan. They did long distance for one year, seeing each other every month, until Stephanie moved back to San Diego to be closer to Dylan. Dylan proposed November 18, 2022 in La Jolla, CA and the couple moved in together in an apartment in Downtown San Diego. They got married December 2, 2022 at the courthouse in Downtown San Diego surrounded by their immediate families. They now live together in La Mesa, CA with their dogs, Chance and Charlie, and their leopard gecko, Craig.
