Our Wedding

Our story began at UW-Whitewater, right as the world was turning upside down with COVID. Everything came to a pause when we were all sent home—and at the time, Stephanie wasn’t quite sure where things would go. But fate had other plans. When everyone returned that fall, we ended up living just a few houses apart on the same street. That small detail led to a big chapter in our lives. Late nights out (shoutout to Pumpers), lots of laughs, and a little nudge from Hannah Beckman—who let Zach know Stephanie was “finally ready” to be his girlfriend (🤣)—led us to officially start dating on October 3, 2020. Since then, life has been full of love and milestones. We graduated, moved in together, started our careers, adopted our first puppy Petunia, and built a life side by side. Zach popped the question on June 15, 2024, and we’ve loved every second of being engaged. A year later, we bought our first home on June 27, 2025—and now, we’re counting down the days until we say “I do” on June 12, 2026. We’re so excited to celebrate the start of forever with all of you.

Ashley and I go way back—we were randomly paired as pen pals in elementary school and reconnected in high school. Since then, she’s become so much more than a friend—she’s truly my best friend, my rock, and someone who’s been there through it all. From growing up together to now standing beside me on my wedding day, I couldn’t feel more grateful to have her by my side. We’ve shared every season of life together and she’s the kind of friend everyone hopes for!

Hannah moved to Fort during our sophomore year, and I had no idea then just how much that moment would change my life. She became my best friend in every sense—loyal, uplifting, and always ready to make me laugh until I cry. From the moment we met, she’s been my biggest fan, my constant support, and the friend who brings out my goofiest, most joyful self. Life is brighter and funnier with her in it, and I’m so lucky to have her by my side for this moment.

Hannah Bingham 

Rachel has been my partner in chaos since our days as bus buddies and teammates. From growing up playing sports together to always being down for any adventure, she’s my rebellious, go-with-the-flow friend who brings nonstop energy and laughter wherever she goes. Life’s always a little more fun with Rachel around, and I’m so lucky to have her as part of this day.

Hannah has been in my life since kindergarten, making her my longest-running friend. She’s the kindest soul you’ll ever meet, always up for a good time, and never fails to make me laugh. Some of my favorite memories include her & I’m so grateful to have her by my side.

Abbe and I met in college freshman year and ended up living together during junior and senior years. Her loyalty and fierce support for those she loves make her one of a kind. Even though we met later in life, our friendship feels timeless—I’m excited to celebrate this day with her by my side.

Matt and Zach’s friendship kicked off back in the days of midget football, where they first met as kids. What started on the field as friendly competition grew into a lifelong bond. From being high school rivals to becoming college teammates—and eventually roommates—their shared love of sports and countless memories built a rock-solid friendship. Over the years, Matt has become one of Zach’s closest friends and biggest supporters, and there’s no one better suited to stand by his side as Best Man.

Hayden and Zach met as college baseball teammates, but their friendship quickly grew beyond the field. Known for being the guy who always pulls the crew together, Hayden is the ultimate hype man and group coordinator. If there’s a plan, a party, or a spontaneous adventure—chances are, Hayden’s behind it. He keeps things light, fun, and unforgettable, and Zach couldn’t imagine this day without him.

Ryan and Zach’s friendship was built through college baseball. Ryan is the kind of friend who keeps things grounded—humble, reliable, and always up for a late-night card game. He’s got a big heart and has been one of Zach’s most loyal and easygoing friends over the years. Zach’s grateful to have Ryan standing with him on such an important day.

If there was a “Most Likely to Ask for Homework Help” award in college, it’d go straight to Sam. But don’t be fooled—behind the questions is a friend who’s endlessly loyal. Whether they were tackling tough assignments or teaming up for a late-night gaming session, Sam was always there—bringing the laughs, the support, and a friendship Zach knows he can count on.

Sam Vomhof 

Justin and Zach were college roommates for two years, and now they’re colleagues at the same accounting firm. They’ve shared plenty of early mornings, thanks to Justin’s talent for turning up the volume. Whether it’s the Star-Spangled Banner or some Toby Keith classics blasting through Alexa, he’s definitely the guy who gets the day started (whether you want it or not). Beyond the noise, Justin’s sharp wit and fun-loving spirit make him a friend Zach knows he can always count on.

We have reserved a room block for our guest from Thursday, June 11 to Saturday, June 13.
