They say you can find anything on the internet and apparently they were right, even your soulmate! Our story starts in 2022 with a mutual swipe and like on a dating website. Just like that two people who had just about given up on the new age world of online dating sparked a forever connection that would eventually bring you to this full circle moment of swiping our wedding website!
At this time Chris was living in Dover, NH and Stephanie was located in Weymouth, MA almost two hours south. With Chris frequenting Logan Airport in Boston for his job at Delta and Stephanie working at Boston Childrens Hospital our locations briefly overlapped in what you may call an act of fate or a stroke of luck allowing this connection to be made. We hit it off immediately on our first date at The Wilder in Portsmouth, NH and quickly began spending as much time together as possible despite the distance between us. Weeks turned to months while we navigated dating over distance with two busy work schedules. We would squeeze date nights into Boston layovers and hop on a plane for a quick trip traveling the globe every chance we could get.
Chris shared his love for NH, Lake Winnipesaukee, aviation, traveling, and snowboarding with Stephanie while she shared her love of hiking, mountains, husky life, Patriots games and Marthas Vineyard with Chris. Stephanie (and Niko) quickly fell in love with life north of the border and relocated to Dover, NH to officially become New Hampshirites! Our lives seamlessly merged in NH, discovering our favorite things to do locally such as lake days, date nights at Sonnys Tavern, Crossfit classes and hiking with Niko while still sharing our passion for exploring new countries across the globe.
Fast forward to January 2024, Chris surprised Stephanie with a weekend getaway to her favorite place to escape the chaos of everyday life, Mount Washington. In what can only be described as fairytale conditions and snowfall that resembled the inside of a perfectly curated snow globe, Chris would get down on one knee in front of the infamous Mount Washington and northern Presidential Range mountains to ask Stephanie to spend the rest of her life with him. 2024 has been a busy year full of milestones including celebrating our engagement, planning our wedding and buying our first dream home together. We closed out the year with a bucket list adventure- van tripping and hiking through Iceland, navigating our first Air Force deployment and celebrating the holiday season with our family and friends.
We are so excited to share the magic of our wedding day with all of the people we love most and hope you are just as excited as us for May! We look forward to this new chapter as Husband and Wife and cannot wait to see what other adventures the universe has in store for us.
