Set on a peninsula overlooking the Penobscot Bay in Maine, French's point offers two year round, oceanfront vacation rental homes where we will have our wedding! With beautifully landscaped grounds, stunning views, a variety of gorgeous event spaces, and an incredible array of amenities, our guests will have the opportunity to create memorable experiences with their loved ones in uncompromised privacy here on the coast of Maine. Both rental homes will be used to accommodate up to 50 of our invited guests for a minimum of 3 nights. All rooms in both homes come with their own private restroom attached. Space is limited so if you would like to reserve a suite on the premises please contact Stephanie or Ethan as soon as possible. Located in Bucksport, Fort Knox Park Inn is by the ocean and close to Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Observatory and Bucksport Golf Club. Travel

Just a short walk from the parking lot, visitors can relax at riverside picnic sites and fuel up for hiking, sightseeing, bicycling, fishing, or paddling. Gentle trails lead hikers through field and forest to rocky shores and historic sites. Interpretive signs describe Fort Point's history as a military, maritime, and tourist center. Using the roads, bicyclists leave the parking lot to ride to the lighthouse or to begin the seven-mile loop around Cape Jellison.

A unique and thrilling low altitude cruise over some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Majestic windjammers sailing the East and West Penobscot Bay, eagles, osprey, seals and dolphins and some of the most picturesque lighthouses in the world are just a few of the sights you might see.

Sandy Point lies on the Penobscot River just across from Verona Island. Here a 100-acre preserve protects the sand and gravel Sandy Point Beach for public use. You can swim, picnic and sunbathe at this pocket beach, which is tucked between rocky headlands. You can also enjoy windsurfing on this wide stretch of river. Sandy Point has no public facilities, no lifeguard, and limited parking.

Searsport Pines Golf Course is a beautiful and challenging 9-hole course located just 2 miles from Rte. 1, out of Searsport Center. When traveling Rte. 1 in either direction, turn at Tozier's Market; the golf course is 2 miles up on the left.
