Our love story is far from typical, but that’s what makes it perfect for us.

How we met

June 2007

We met in Massapequa Park, thanks to our older siblings, John and Jeannie, who started dating around that time. Our connection began as a friendship—hanging out at local bars, attending town festivals, and sometimes playing soccer in the park.

But before long, feelings started to grow, and in 2008, during Chris’s annual “505 Halloween party,” we took a chance and had our first kiss. We both welcomed it, and this was the beginning of our love story.

What followed were some years of ups and downs, but no matter what, we always found our way back to each other. Honestly, neither of us could imagine life without the other.

The proposal

June 7, 2024

Chris proposed at Northport Harbor and led me down to the gazebo, where he knelt on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was perfect, just the two of us, surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors. After the proposal, we went to our dinner reservations at the Northport Hotel where we happily shared the news with everyone there while sipping on our favorite cocktails, Aperol Spritz and Old Fashioned.

Our journey

We have shared so many “firsts” together—our first time living in NYC (shout out to Astoria, Queens!), buying our first home, and most importantly, welcoming our beautiful boy, Landon, into the world with so much love.

Landon is the best of both of us and has brought so much happiness into our life. We consider ourselves the tripod!

We have truly grown up together, we are best friends who fell in love and can wholeheartedly say we want to live the rest of our lives together. We choose to love each other every day, and choose to be together, because for us, the juice is definitely worth the squeeze.

“Yes” for us truly means “yes” as we have been through all the major life milestones before deciding to marry each other. We are ready and proud to take this final step to fully committing to our love and partnership. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by our family and friends.
