OUR STORY

<p style="text-align: left;">Steph and Eric met in 2016 at New York Medical College as they were pursuing their Doctorate for Physical Therapy. They started out as friends and Steph would sit in front of Eric during their lectures, which clearly caught his attention. They began to hang out with their group of friends at Captain Lawrence, when studying on campus, or going out in White Plains. Their relationship really took off after a trip to Steph’s best friend’s lake house 6 years ago. They decided to carpool 2+ hours together, which was the first time they were alone just the two. This went better than expected, singing their favorite songs and talking the entire drive. They began learning more about their families, goals, aspirations, and morals; finding that they all coincide. They decided to take a risk and move to Florida together after graduation, which was probability the best decision for them because it only made their bond stronger. Their foundation was tested with a 1300+ mile move, beginning a career, COVID, surgeries, and Hurricane Ian. Fortunately they found success, new friendships, and a better appreciation for their families and each other. They are both very thankful for their life together and being able to celebrate many years to come with the ones they love most.   <br /></p>

There is only a select amount of room blocks left available for the hotel on Saturday and Sunday. Please let the receptionist know you are calling about the Savino/Pecoraro wedding and a discounted rate will apply. Must book prior to 8/6/2024 to get the block rates.

The Thayer Hotel

We have a room block at this hotel for both Saturday and Sunday, but are trying to fill the Thayer block first. If needed there will be transportation provided on Sunday for the wedding. Please ask the front desk for the Savino & Pecoraro Wedding before 9/5/2024 to be given the room block rate.

Sleep Inn & Suites Monroe - Woodbury

This hotel is not part of our block, but if you would like a different setting that is still a drivable distance to the wedding with an INCREDIBLE view, this hotel is 16 minutes from the Thayer Hotel. They operate more like a lodge, but this is definitely a beautiful place to stay or visit while in the Hudson Valley.

Bear Mountain Inn - Overlook Lodge

Good for hiking and has overlooks to enjoy the view of the Hudson Valley.

Bear Mountain State Park

Purchase game tickets and more. There will likely be a football event the weekend of the wedding, depending on the new 2024 season schedule. Will update closer to the date.
