Suggested Routes

Ticket types, routes, baggage, and layovers can all play into the price tag. However we have been monitoring how flight prices have fluctuated and this is what we have found: 1) When we were hunting for flights in December/January 2023 to asses how much they would cost for the following year (December 2024) the flights were coming in at around £1000-£1200. 2) However from February to April 2024 (when looking for December 2024), prices started to drop a bit, ranging from £700 to £1200. 3) Flying on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or even Boxing Day was often cheaper than those post-Christmas dates. 4) And, waiting until the end of the first or the beginning of the second week of January showed a price drop. 5) If you can travel light with just a small bag that fits under your seat and a wheeled bag for the overhead compartment, BA offers a hand luggage-only ticket, which will be your cheapest option! We appreciate many of you won’t have this flexibility due to work and family commitments but it’s what we have spotted so far. We suggest looking at different options on Google Flights and Skyscanner. Here are a few flight options from Edinburgh. We've listed routes with one stop, but there are more choices available, including some with two stops which could be cheaper.

We're so glad you're joining us for our big day! While the wedding is the main event, Naples, Florida has lots to do. This is a <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/rGxyHkUyVYPfwm2z9" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Google list of suggestions for Naples</a>. Although Fort Myers (RSW) is the closest airport to the venue (~30 mins) we suggest looking at alternative airports (Miami, Tampa or Orlando) to maximise your time in Florida. We've compiled a <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/EoTys9JVb19i6hjQ7" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Google list of Miami recommendations</a> based on our experiences and input from friends who live in the city. The main attractions are worth seeing, but we've also got some off-the-grid suggestions for you all. We plan to add lists for Orlando and Tampa here soon.

Things to Do

Brunch and tennis Join us on Monday 29th for a brunch and tennis at Audubon Country Club! We'll have drinks, breakfast, and a chance to meet other wedding guests. If you're up for tennis, wear sports clothes and trainers. New Years Eve Celebration We’ll be spending the afternoon into early evening at my auntie and uncle’s home in Bonita Springs. Expect sun, beach, pool, drinks, and some food. Beach/pool attire is totally&nbsp;if you’d like to swim, paddle board - think swimsuits, cover-ups, or whatever you’d wear for a chilled-out beach day.
