We started dating way back in 2014, while working aboard The Pride of America in Hawaii. Our cabins were only two doors apart! We met one night while attending Norwegian Cruise Line's infamous White Hot Party. We took silly photos together and talked all night. It was love at first sight.

We moved to Alaska a year after we met to work for Princess Cruise Lines! On our weekends off, we went on so many adventures: kayaking on Byers Lake, bonfires at Troublesome Creek under the midnight sun, and watching bears catch salmon from a boat in Redoubt Bay. To celebrate our one year anniversary, we took a small plane up to Mount McKinley (Denali) and landed on a glacier!

In 2016, we moved to Tampa, Florida, where we attended our very first Gasparilla Pirate Parade together! We took a short break from seasonal jobs, but we were still lucky enough do some traveling. We visited Las Vegas, NV (Stephanie's first time there) and Key West, FL (Phillip's first time there) this year.

We were back on cruise ships in 2017! We took our first cruise together to the Bahamas, as passengers this time, rather than crew. We spent that summer working for American Queen Steamboat Company, which traveled from New Orleans to Louisville via the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers.

2018 was the year of Disney! Stephanie started working for Disney World in May and received complimentary admission for being a cast member. We became (slightly) Disney obsessed. We were still living in Tampa, but were preparing for our move to Orlando.

In 2019, we attended our very first music festival together! The Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) came to Orlando and we had a blast. This was also the year we moved into our first apartment, in Davenport, FL. We have great memories from our time there.

2020 was definitely a year unlike any other. We moved from Florida to North Dakota. Along the way, Phillip proposed in Nashville, TN on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge. The proposal was a complete surprise! We've loved being engaged and can't wait to be married!

This year has been a whirlwind of new experiences. North Dakota is a whole lot different from Florida, and we have been exploring as much as possible. From ice fishing in Bismarck, to sightseeing in the Black Hills, to exploring the old western city of Deadwood, our travels are far from over.
